At least Mother Nature and the Pittsburgh Pirates conspired to give a show Saturday in Anaheim. Nothing crazy happened. The Angels lost, as usual.
One day before the moon is closest to Earth, an event called perigee, Angels Stadium got a night-long preview of what’s to come tonight. The perigee will make the so-called supermoon appear about 12 percent bigger in the sky, leading to a bright night.
It doesn’t matter where you are tongiht. Step outside when the lights go down, and you’ll see it.
